I can't fault this place, great room lovely pool with fantastic views, lovely breakfast spread .Only a 25 minute walk up a slight hill to San Gimignano which is well worth the walk there and back. Will definitily be back soon.
We had a room with a view. The view was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They did a great job! Clean rooms. Beautiful pool with a great view. Breakfast was delicious. They made real cappuccinos (not automatic machine) and quality food. Musli, yogurt, bread, ham, cheeses, jams, pastries. 15 min walk to the heart of San Gimignano.
The two sisters who own Saint Michele were very accommodating. We extended our stay because of this. Pool was very clean and had a very nice view. There were chairs and umbrellas.
The place was quiet and peaceful. It has its own parking lot. It is within walking distance of the city - about 15-20 minutes. You can also catch a bus that will take you to one of the main gates in 5 minutes. The view from the hotel is great. There are many pleasant places to rest.
